Chances are you already use a pharmacy management system that has been certified by Surescripts. You simply need to contact your vendor representative and ask them to enable the e-prescribing functionality. You will then be able to receive new prescriptions directly into your computer system from physicians who e-prescribe. You can also send renewal authorization requests to e-prescribing physicians and review their responses on your pharmacy computer.
